Hitori

Japanese logic game. The word Hitori is a diminutive of the Japanese word ひとりにしてくれ, hitori ni shite kure, which literally means 'leave me alone' or "let me quiet.'

Rules
  • When the game starts, each cell in a grid contains a number or a letter.
  • The goal is to color the cells so that:
    • in each row and in each column, the remaining numbers are all different;
    • two adjacent cells by one side can not be both coloured;
    • the remaining cells should form a single block.
