### Penrose triangle

The Penrose triangle is an impossible object. Despite its name, it was first created by the Swedish artist Oscar Reutersvärd in $1934$. However, it was the British mathematician Roger Penrose  who conceived it independently and popularized it in the $1950$s, describing it as "impossibility in its purest form."

In the animated GIF above we can see a ball go through on the Penrose triangle. The continued movement of the ball on the triangle is also impossible, since a 3D representation of the object must have a break, which is not only visible from a certain angle.
